INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN. All registrations but be completed online. We do have one Medical & Liability form ready-the fill-in one which may be printed. Registration must be completed by May 28, 2010 (some exceptions may only be handled by contacting the event director. Contact the Director by email. REGISTRATION IS NOT CONSIDERED COMPLETE UNTIL ALL OF THE FOLLOWING HAVE BEEN COMPLETED:
1. Team registration has been entered and the fee paid (individual participants, quizzers and coaches,
must be assigned a team by May 28th). A participant may register without the team name but must
modify the registration, entering the team(s) before the cutoff date.
2. Individual participant registration has been entered and the fee(s) paid.
3. The Medical and Liability form filled in and either emailed or faxed to NYI in Lenexa, KS.
(see instructions, click here). All forms for children and teens age 17 and under must have the
form signed and dated before a Notary Public (USA) or Commissioner of Oaths (Canada).

Partial payments can be made in increments of $50 for participants (coaches and quizzers only). All other charges must be paid in full when payment is made; this includes all volunteer, official, guest or family registrations and extras. You can enter a registration and order
the extras later, but you must pay for those extras all at once. Payments made will be applied to the registration fees first, then to any remaining balance.
For example, if you register as a coach, you can register and pay later. You can pay $50 twice and then $65 for the last payment or pay $50, $65 and $50 or any combination with at least $50 until paid. If you add an extra night housing and buy a DVD highlight video, payments are first applied to any remaining registration fee and then to the extras. Payment for all extras must then be made together.
Last payment (full or balances) for individual registrations must be made by May 28, 2010.
ONSITE EVENT CHECKIN WILL BEGIN ON JUNE 28th, 2010 at 2PM (Eastern Daylight Time) at MVNU
(Late or onsite payments, payment by check and late registrations not accepted without prior director approval; not many reasons accepted)
THE EVENT WILL BEGIN WITH AN OPENING SERVICE ON JUNE 28th at 7:30PM AND WILL CONCLUDE WITH AN AWARDS CEREMONY STARTING AT APPROXIMATELY NOON ON JULY 3rd.
Individual costs for the event include:
- Every person attending Q2010 as a participant must complete a Medical and Liability form (see note above).
- Visitors (someone staying off campus, not participating but just watching quizzes, is welcome but we cannot guarantee space for any service or other event including any meals (must pay a fee) or activities (not allowed to participate). The cafeteria will sell meals at the cafeteria door (see prices below).
- Includes 5 nights (Mon-Fri), 15 meals (dinner Mon-lunch Sat); linens (2 flat sheets, blanket, 2 towels, 2 washcloths, no pillows or toiletries; bring your own-we will have pillows and fans for sale at registration); a group photo; an event shirt; ministry project; individual and team placement awards; individual placement scholarships; activities, 50 years of quizzing celebration; services; devotions; volunteer, officials and coaches training; Barefoot Ministries material-each person will receive one piece of John material); fun and laughter.
- Officials and Event Volunteers who gain director approval- $75 (includes the same as the participants)
- Guests - $170 Children 3 years and younger are no charge for meals and housing; additional charges may apply for other options. (includes the same as the participants
- Families - starting at $130 per person with a minimum of 3 non-participants
more discounts with more family members (must register and pay for at least first 2 to receive the discounts; cannot include quizzers, coaches, officials, volunteer or quiz staff) Children 3 years and younger are no charge for meals and housing; additional charges may apply for other options. - Visitor (non-participant or guest) meal options.
The Cafeteria will sell individual tickets for meals throughout the event (Monday dinner through Saturday lunch) at the cost of: Breakfast - $6.00 Lunch - $7.00 and Dinner - $8.00 per meal per day.; - Early and late housing
Early housing only Sunday the 27th and late housing only Saturday the 3rd. Saturday the 3rd late housing will be limited; some may need to stay in hotels as there is another convention starting on Monday the 5th - cost for early or late housing is $10 per night per person). We will do our best to place everyone who request early/late housing in rooms where they stay all week but this may not be possible in every case. - Early meals (participants only)
Monday, June 28th - breakfast and lunch only-$5 for breakfast and $6 for lunch or $10 for both breakfast and lunch-these prices are good if paid in advance or at the cafeteria that day. - Highlight Video - $17
- Additional Tee-Shirt (beyond the one included in the participant registration) - $10
- Pillow (consumable not included in participant registration) - $8
- Room Fan - $12
Housing - we will try to assign housing based on your requests but please understand that quizzers and coaches may be assigned first.
- We will make every effort to place families together (quizzers and coaches may need to stay
together depending on team decisions and chaperone needs). You can indicate that you want to stay together as a family but putting the words "With Family" in the roommate preference boxes or enter the names together, Bill, Beth, James, Kim and Doug Jones.
- Families with young children may be able to stay together in apartments that have 2 or 4 beds but when more are needed. If a family has 5 people staying together, a young children may be able to sleep on a pull out bed from the couch in that apartment. It is not allowed for an adult to sleep on anything other than the beds provided, not on couches.
- There is a limited number of air conditioned rooms/apartments and we will place people based on physical need. It is important to note those needs in the registration form.
Team costs for the event include:>

- District Team (both novice & experienced) - $140 per team
3rd, 4th, 5th, or more district teams from a district - $125 per team - Local Team (both novice & experienced) - $100 per team
There are two divisions each for District/Local teams:
Experienced
Are either district all-star teams or local church teams.
District teams consist of quizzers who participated at the regional event or any quizzer that has quizzed on that district throughout the quiz year just completed. Mulitple district or local church teams can represent a district. District directors may choose to make up teams from any quizzer on that district whether they quizzed together at the regional event or not.
District experienced team members may also quiz with their local church experienced and/or regional teams. Non-Nazarene teams or quizzers are welcome provided the quizzers quizzed with a Nazarene district during the quiz year.
Local church teams consist of quizzers who are from the same local church. Quizzers may combine from one or more churches if they have quizzed together throughout the quiz year on the same district with the approval of the district director. Non-Nazarene teams or quizzers are welcome provided they quizzed with a Nazarene district during the quiz year.
Regional team members may NOT quiz on either type Novice team!
Novice
Are either district all-star teams or local church teams.
A Novice quizzer is defined as:
